My wife and I have been enjoying a cp lifestyle for close to 30 years and where in the early years we switched on a regular basis, we're predominately femdom today. The reason being that as we became seasoned players, my pain threshold developed to the point where for me, our mutual strappings became merely a warm up for a heavy session with one of our singletails - a 4' snakewhip and 16 plait Cossack. While too severe for my wife, she's definitely found her dominant side as she has no problem taking these whips to me! Corporal punishment isn't new to us as we both grew up in Victorian households and the Canadian school system where until the mid 70's, the strap was a way of life. If you got the regulation 3 per hand at school, you received twice as many when you got home, which in our house meant 12 strokes across the bare butt with a 3 tailed Scottish tawse in sets of 6 with no warm up. In keeping with this tradition, our strokes are given full force in sets of 6 and my wife who's a heavy hitter, doesn't hold back which is fine with me. And depending on the whip, getting past the first 12 can be a challenge; however, once my endorphin rush has set in, we're in for the full count. As you can see from our favourites, heavy play is an acceptable way of life for us and we're comfortable taking it to a higher level. Perhaps we'll try a sjambok which we know is an extremely punishing whip in it's true leather form. The problem is finding one that's made from the hide of a rhino. We appreciate there's a fine line when using an instrument like this, especially when you're both caught up in the moment and I have to admit we came close to crossing this line with our snakewhip. I moved as the lash was coming down which caused it to wrap around and break the skin. Happily, with the help of a salve meant for saddle sores, I was back to normal after just over a month.
Lesson learned - if you can't stay still during a heavy whipping, agree to be restrained. I shouldn't have moved!
In a nutshell, we are a seasoned couple and it would be great to exchange experiences with those who share this same lifestyle.
